With recent conversations around AccessiBe making headlines, we at Green Closet Creative are continuing our discussions with AccessiBe and other accessibility providers. While we’re still exploring the best options, one thing we’ve always believed is that websites should aim to be as natively compliant as possible. However, we understand that for many businesses—especially smaller ones—this can be a challenge, which is where accessibility tools can provide valuable support.
We think adding a widget like AccessiBe is a helpful step because it simplifies many aspects of accessibility that can be tough to implement natively. While it may not exceed WCAG 2.2 compliance, it does address important concerns like color blindness, ADHD, and seizure disorders that aren’t always easy to tackle on your own.
Accessibility is a journey, and we’re here to help our clients find the right balance between compliance and enhanced user experience.
